H2D Architecture and Design are Seattle Architects dedicated to custom residential architecture. We work as a team with our clients and contractors to create modern, environmentally friendly spaces. Budget feasibility, architectural detailing, and GREEN DESIGN and construction methods define the main goals on each of our projects regardless of the size and scope. H2D specializes in: custom single family residences, floating homes, whole house remodels, bathroom and kitchen remodels, second story additions, small and large additions, multi-family dwellings, and small commercial projects.
Heidi Helgeson, principal architect with H2D, has been working in architecture for over 12 years. Heidi embarked on her artistic journey with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and Asian Studies from Saint Olaf College. After immersing herself in the basics of painting, sculpture, photography, and color theory, she launched into her career in architecture and received a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Washington. Working at a variety of architecture firms in Minneapolis and Seattle, Heidi gained experience on a wide variety of project genres and architectural styles from single family and multi-family residences to museums, libraries, and churches. In her free time, Heidi enjoys running marathons, participating in triathlons, watercolor painting, traveling to foreign countries, and visiting parks with her children.
