Innis Arden Master Suite Remodel

Phase 2 of the Innis Arden whole house remodel is complete. Phase 1 consisted of remodeling the lower floor complete with a new bathroom, guest room, offices, and theater room. The recent Phase 2 project consisted of remodeling the master suite. The design focused on opening up the views to the Puget Sound from the master bedroom, creating a more efficient walk-in closet, and developing a beautiful spa-like bathroom space. The bathroom is laid out with his and hers teak vanities, steam shower with built in bench, enclosed toilet room, and large soaking tub. High end plumbing fixtures were used for the bathroom including a ceiling mounted shower head for the shower and the laminar ceiling tub filler.

Capital Hill Addition and Remodel

Currently under construction:

We are working on a project in the Capital Hill neighborhood of Seattle.  The project involves digging out for a Smart Car garage under the front of the house and rebuilding the masonry front porch in the historic style of the home.  Secondly, we have designed a new kitchen addition to the rear of the house with a full basement below.  The construction process is tricky, working carefully around the two story load bearing masonry structure.
Keep watch for progress photos during the construction process!

Lake Forest Park Remodel

This chic, artsy remodel in Lake Forest Park was a fun project for H2D Architecture + Design.  The family had their eye on this foreclosed home for almost two years before they were finally able to close the deal.  The home had been vacant for quite a while, so lots of tender loving care was necessary to make the home comfortable.  The main focus of the project was to open up the main floor to create a great room and central kitchen.

Cabinets:  Ikea

Countertops: Cambria Quartz

Floors:  Marmoleum, Tile and Hardwood

Innis Arden View House

H2D Architecture + Design has been working closely with an Innis Arden family on a major whole house remodel and addition project.  They recently purchased the home after it being a rental for many years.  The home has great potential – fabulous large site, sweeping views of the Puget Sound, and good original construction to build from.  The design goals are to add a master suite with a deck overlooking the Puget Sound, new kitchen, powder room, additional bathroom, and reconfigure the existing spaces on the lower floor.  This active family spends much of their time outdoors, so creating a connection to the outdoors is critical in this project.

Bridle Trails Farmhouse

The Bridle Trails farmhouse sits in a quiet, wooded neighborhood of Bellevue.  The urban site feels very rural with horses running in the field next door.  H2D Architecture + Design has been working with this family to design a studs-out remodel for the kitchen and several spaces on the main floor, in addition to several bathrooms on the upper floor.  The homeowners style is urban chic and they are envisioning new clean, unique spaces in their home.
